Gary Newbon has been one of Britain’s most high-profile sports broadcasters. He has covered seven World Cup finals, three Olympic Games, European football at both national and club level, many boxing world title fights and a host of other sporting events. He has presented thousands of television programmes, winning three coveted Royal Television Society awards. He lives in Solihull, West Midlands.
