An evening with Peter Brookes

Since Peter started as political cartoonist for The Times in 1992, his work has depicted the world's leading stories and famous faces with his trademark colourful, insightful wit.

Britain’s finest political cartoonist will be taking us through Interesting Times, his caustic new collection of work showcasing the stand-out pieces from the last year which subjects the world and its leaders to the most sophisticated of lampoonings, skillfully satirising those who populate the political classes. During the evening Peter will also be drawing live and talking through the process for crafting his cartoons after attending The Times morning conference at which the major political stories for the next day’s paper are discussed.

Copies of Interesting Times will be on sale on the evening along with prints and merchandise featuring Peter’s cartoons. Guests will also have the opportunity to get their book signed by Peter at the end of the evening.
