The Institute for Government is delighted to welcome Lord Owen and David Ludlow authors of the book British Foreign Policy After Brexit.
The authors will discuss key themes from the book and will be in conversation with Bronwen Maddox, Director of the Institute for Government. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with the audience.
The Rt Hon Lord Owen was a Labour MP for 26 years from 1966 to 1992, serving as Navy Minister, Health Minister and Foreign Secretary in several governments. He was a co-founder of the Social Democratic Party, and its Leader from 1983 to 1987, and the continuing SDP from 1988 to 1990.
David Ludlow’s career has spanned the public and private sectors. After stints in the British Embassy in Moscow at the end of the Gorbachev era, he spent two years working with David Owen at the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia
