Julian Lloyd Webber at Henley Literary Festival
- 6 Oct 2026
- 15:00 -17:00
- Gower Cottage Brownies Stage at the Town Hall
From London Underground’s first official busker, to the only classical musician chosen to play at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony, cellist and conductor Julian Lloyd Webber has had a unique career. His no-holds-barred autobiography Bows and Arrows takes us into a cut-throat world of agents, violin dealers and substance abuse. As he makes his long-awaited stage return, he joins us in Henley to share unfiltered stories from working with Elton John, Yehudi Menuhin, his brother Andrew and many more.
