- White Hart Hotel

Certainly not a household name but behind the scenes, Lord Michael Spicer is nonetheless one of the most talented and influential Conservative Politicians of his generation. Lord Spicer was an MP from 1974 to 2010.
A Minister for Energy, Aviation and then Environment, in 2001 he was elected chairman of the highly influential 1922 Committee, a position he retained until 2010, when he was elevated to the House of Lords.
Lord Spicer will be talking about his life in politics, stretching from campaigning with Alec Douglas-Home to overseeing, as returning officer, the election of David Cameron as Leader of the Conservative Party.
The dinner is to be held on 7pm for 7:30pm at the excellent White Hart Mercure Hotel in Salisbury (http://www.whitehartsalisbury.com/) on Thursday 12 March. Dining tickets available at £25 per person. Please contact Matt Dean on 07742 830650 or via email matthewjdean@icloud.com if you would like to come.
The Spicer Diaries will be available, without obligation, at the dinner.
