An exciting post has arisen at Biteback Publishing and The Robson Press for an enterprising and outgoing individual to help coordinate our publicity function. The Publicity Manager will be responsible for managing and running press campaigns on up to ten forward list titles per month across both imprints. The successful candidate will manage one assistant and will be involved in all aspects of the company's operations – from acquisitions to digital strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a young, dynamic team in a small but fast-growing general non-fiction publisher. Biteback has become one of Britain’s foremost political publishers since it originated in 2009 and has quickly built an impressive trade and press profile around authors such as Peter Sissons, Peter Hain, David Laws and Anthony Seldon. The Robson Press imprint, which began last summer, has its roots in more general publishing, including biography, humour, history, music and film, with authors including Sandi Toksvig, Esther Rantzen, Michael Winner, Ryan O’Neil, Elkie Brooks, Bram Stoker and many more.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent communications skills and at least two years’ experience working in publicity roles within book publishing. An interest in UK politics would be a distinct advantage.

Competitive salary offered.
