Last night, Biteback were host to some (very) familiar faces and a fair few names too. Our eagerly anticipated launch party to celebrate the publication of Peter Sissons' autobiography, When One Door Closes, went off without a hitch!
Peter Sissons having spent nearly 45 years on our television screens probably tops the 'familiar faces' chart but we also had the cream of the current crop here last night, including The Daily Politics' Andrew Neil, The Politics Show's Jon Sopel and Michael Crick of Newsnight.
So far as I can tell the only person who smashed a glass was me, who shall remain nameless - but not due to a fit of rage or drunken stupour - just because the place was packed. Which is a very good thing. More book sales, you see!
Here are a few snaps of the night to whet your appetite.
Thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to a great night had by all.
