As The Bookseller have reported, Biteback will be publishing a book by Labour Peer, Lord Andrew Adonis, later this year.
'Education, Education, Education will tell the story of the academies policy which Adonis spearheaded in Tony Blair's Labour government, with the second half of the book setting out an urgent manifesto for change in the English education system.'
Biteback MD, Iain Dale, said "We are delighted to be publishing Andrew's book. This is a subject of vital importance and Andrew is exactly the right person to be addressing it."
Tony Blair said his three priorities were Education, Education, Education. Andrew Adonis played a decisive role in turning this slogan into a reform programme. This book describes his quest to transform standards and opportunities in England’s schools, and his ambition to make English education truly world class.
With his vital experience of education policy in government, as a Minister for Schools, as former Transport Secretary, as an academic, author and journalist, Lord Adonis is perfectly placed to tackle the issue. We will be announcing further details soon, so stay tuned.
