As I’m sure you all know by now, Edwina Currie’s classic political novels are soon to be published as ebooks. Yes, the lovely Edwina Currie of political, Strictly Come Dancing and, um, egg fame. We’re pretty excited, and it turns out we’re not the only ones. Yes, it seems that word has reached the funny people over at Channel 4. Imagine my surprise when an old school clip of Edwina reading an extract from A Parliamentary Affair popped up on Channel 4’s A Short History of Everything Else.
