Hello lovely Biteback blog readers!
As it's Christmas Eve Eve and it's getting closer to that point in the afternoon - on the last day of work for over a week - when working no longer seems desireable or possible, I thought I'd take the opportunity to wish you all a lovely break (for those of you who get to enjoy one!)
If you're reading this today then happy Christmas Eve Eve, if you're reading this tomorrow then happy Christmas Eve and if you're reading this the day after that then, well, maybe I shouldn't count my chickens...
We've had a great year and thanks too for all your support. Have no fear, while blogging will be nonexistant, the thought that this website would shut down altogether is balderdash! We are a book-selling machine. And the book-selling never ends! Perish the thought...
Oh, one last thing, on the 25th of January next year we're publishing Peter Sissons' autobiography When One Door Closes. Peter went to school in Liverpool with The Beatles, this is what Sir Paul McCartney had to say about him and the book:
"Peter is an old friend of mine from Liverpool. While I found my way into a notorious music group, he went on to university and ‘greater things’! It was not long before he had a very successful career in television and though both of us have led fairly hectic lives, we still keep in touch. His memoirs are a must-read.”
Yes, well, I'll leave you with that then. Awesome.
