nick clegg.jpgI love Tumblr. Mainly because it compels people to create sites like this.

That's right. Nick Clegg Looking Sad Dot Tumblr Dot Com, as Alexandra Burke would probably say it.

Nick Clegg is looking SAAAAAAAD (I don’t know why but the word sad has much more effect if you say it really loudly, and drag out the aaaaaaa bit). Why is Nick Clegg SAAAAAD? Tuition fees? Forget it, Nick. Europe? Come on Nick, it’s not that big a deal. Political and constitutional reform being your ‘thing’? Cheer up, Ni....no, you know what, there’s really nothing I can say to make him feel better about that utterly devastating part of his life. The West Lothian question? I mean, come on.

If Nick needed other reasons to feel fabulous, he should remember that we have published two books dedicated solely to his existence: Nick Clegg: The Biography, written by Chris Bowers, and Ann Treneman’s Dave & Nick: The Year Of The Honeymoon. OK so that second one might not be JUST about Nick, and he may not have received top billing, but the glass is half full you know?

Let’s face facts. Nick has plenty of reasons to be cheerful. As bus drivers, tube users, dog walkers, pretty much anyone in the world frequently says to me: cheer up. It might never happen. Unless it already has. In fact, now that I think about it, it might have already happened for Nick. Awkward.

p.s. Grant Tucker is getting lairy that I didn't namecheck him in this piece. I can confirm that Grant Tucker definitely did not alert me to this tumblr. Definitely not.
