Biteback Publishing is looking for an intern as part of a four week internship program which commences in Apr/May 2011.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in publishing. Desirable skills include:
Attention to detail – ability to spot grammatical and layout errors in text, and inconsistencies
Excellent spelling and grammar
Black-belt Microsoft Word skills
Writing ability in different genres
Interest in politics / current affairs
Appreciation of layout / typography
Indesign / photoshop skill a bonus
Research skills
Our goal is to ensure that each intern leaves with a set of marketable skills and the confidence to succeed in the current market.
