Neville Thurlbeck worked at the News of the World for two decades as its chief reporter and news editor. During that time he won numerous journalism awards, including the British Press Awards Scoop of the Year trophy twice, a record which remains unbeaten. He has also been runner-up at the British Press Awards four times. He was drawn into the phone hacking scandal and served thirty-seven days of a six-month prison sentence. He is now the Director of Communications for the Retail Ombudsman and runs a successful PR company, Clear Vista Media. He lives in Esher.
