Paul Gambaccini chose to live in Great Britain, arriving here at 21 from his home in the United States after winning a scholarship to Oxford. He went on to have a hugely successful career, primarily as a radio presenter. Then, in October 2013, he was arrested as part of the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Yewtree investigation into charges of historic sexual abuse. After twelve months of unimaginable stress and trauma he, became the latest celebrity to be exonerated of the allegations. During that year he endured isolation and anguish, and was rendered unemployable. This book is his day-by-day account of how the full weight of the state was brought to bear on him, and is an urgent, rallying call to arms to all those who care about truth and justice.

Paul Gambaccini will be in conversation with Earl Spencer.
